How do I upload contacts with a CSV file?

You can easily upload contacts using a CSV file. Please make sure your file has a header row exactly as described below. 

• Bulk contact import will filter out duplicate phone numbers any contact without a valid US phone number.

• CSV file should have a header row with identifiers for each column. Header row should include exactly the fields; 
  • First Name
    
  • Last Name
    
  • Phone Number

What is a CSV file and how do I open it?

A CSV file can be opened in any program, however, for most users, a CSV file is best viewed through a spreadsheet program, such as Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice Calc, or Google Docs.

 

• If you get "No valid contact information found" error message, it means the number of columns on each line of your CSV file is not consistent.  Please review your CSV file and the header row and try again, the 1st row should be the header row with identifiers for each column exactly the fields; 
  First Name,Last Name,Phone Number
